I’ve recently started playing tabletop RPG’s with my wife & some friends, and it’s been quite fun. Of course, there’s that nasty bit about where to find resources for mapmaking & the like. Fortunately, I’ve found an inexpensive solution that seems to do the trick for me.
Incomptech, a site created by musician Kevin MacLeod, has free tools for designing graph paper with squares, triangles, hexagons, etc. I’ve used them to assist me in drafting various locations for games. Kevin’s music is also very inspiring and I can definitely see how playing different selections would enhance the campaign.
If you’re into tabletop RPG’s, I hope you’ll give it a look.
